Abstract :
The work described has allowed proposals to be made on a reasonably sound basis for testing susceptibility to interference entering via the two routes found to be most important in practice. The tests can be carried out with only basic laboratory equipment comprising a simple signal generator and an oscilloscope. The main problem remaining is that due to the vagaries of the signal injection method the actual test levels are uncertain and match the required profile only over a restricted frequency range
