Realization of a Task-Based Group Awareness Model

CSCW provides forceful environment and technical support for development of manufacture. The theory and the realization skill of group awareness are all-important portions in computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). A task-based group awareness model called TAM is put forward on the basis of the group awareness theory at present time. The design and realization of the task-based group awareness model are described. The details such as the realization of UI (user interface), the realization of the templates database, the realization of the rules database, the cooperative apperceiving of the text information, and the realization of the pivotal mechanisms in TAM are discussed. Finally, the testing to the model is introduced.
