Abstract :
An all-optical FSK mo-demodulation device using four-wave mixing in a Kerr-like medium is presented. Through numerical simulation, the authors theoretically demonstrate a method of format conversion from on-off modulation to FSK modulation. The proposed device performs the desired conversion through nonlinear frequency mixing occurring in interaction lengths of about 50 μm
