Abstract
This paper concentrates on a practical designer´s approach to computer tools and their application to the internal arc design of indoor switchgear to meet the requirements of EATS 41-26 which calls up EN60298 Annex AA, Accessibility A. The purpose of these specifications is to provide protection for an operator at the front of the switchgear in the unlikely event of a catastrophic fault
