Abstract
The pulsewidth-modulation (PWM)-controlled steady-state series resonant inverter is analyzed using only conventional circuit analysis techniques. An optimum design procedure for both half-bridge and full-bridge configurations has been developed and automated. The procedure has been tested against measured data for existing systems and found to be very useful and accurate over a wide range of voltage, frequency and power levels.
