  • Abstract
Multi-frequency Born inversion of the dielectric object is modified to include the lossy dielectric in the slightly lossy background medium. A typical numerical example of a circular lossy dielectric cylinder is presented with its range of validity. By using the improved Born inversion, the permittivity contrast of 1 to 6 may be reconstructed but the range of conductivity is rather limited
