Abstract :
The RACE 2001 programme follows on from the RACE 1036 programme to take the developed and proven technology and apply it to a commercially viable Wavelength and Time Division Multiplexed application. This paper describes how those original ambitions have been addressed, what new considerations were necessary and what success has been achieved on the project
