Abstract
This paper presents a methodology to simulate the vehicle scheduling in flight logistic support process and optimizes the vehicle support process by using the discrete event simulation software Arena. Introduces the main ideas for the optimization model about the resources of support vehicle and erected process of simulation model. By a instance about the support vehicle scheduling in flight troops´ first shipping. Resources of support vehicle in the example´s simulation model are optimized by the OptQuest toolbox integrated in the Arena. From the simulation results, it proves that the erected simulation and optimization models for vehicle scheduling are scientificalness and validity, and a new kind of scientific approach is provided for the airfield station´s commander to scientifically establish the flight logistic support plan by the computer simulation.
