Abstract
The increasing power of desktop computers has prompted users and software developers to look for areas of increased functionality in analysis software. One such area in electromagnetics is the ability to model the electrical circuit which drives an electromagnetic device. In thermal and stress analysis, the sources of heat and force can be calculated from the electromagnetic fields. This paper describes some developments in software to model these areas and illustrates them with typical examples
