  • Abstract
The teleprogramming scheme combined with semiautonomous control is proposed in the paper to cope with the unpredictable and variable time delay for communication over the Internet and enable operator to perform several tasks simultaneously. In addition, virtual surgical simulation software is developed to complete teleprogramming approach which actualize the command generation and display the enhanced feedback information in an intuitive environment. Comparing with the boring figures, the VR system is more vivid and can dramatically reduce the operation fatigue. Java and Java3D is chosen to develop simulation software which can support various modes of operation system, and even enable Web-based operation
