Abstract
In this paper, we report the microwave dielectric, magnetic and absorption properties of some composites containing polypropylene (PP), natural rubber (NR), magnetite (Fe3O4) and yttrium iron garnet (YIG). The effects of incorporating Fe3O4 and YIG into the matrix of the TPNR (PP/NR) on the absorption characteristics of the material with and without the presence of a 1 T external transverse magnetic field are examined and discussed.
