Abstract
A new three-phase single-stage rectifier is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter is a multilevel converter and its switches have less peak voltage stress than the switches of previously proposed two-level topologies. In this paper, the operation of the new converter is explained, its features and design are discussed, and its feasibility is confirmed with experimental results obtained from a prototype.
