Abstract :
In this paper, a kind of 3-layer index inverted table is proposed, which differs from the usual one for the introduction of the additional layer for semantic items. We take advantage of some semantic markups and convert the content of documents to a set of ontology terms. The index tables for search engine obtains those converted terms, which match with the terms from the query, in that the precision of matching can be improved effectively.
