Abstract :
Interacting nodes discovery is a primary challenge in peer-to-peer (P2P) based large-scale distributed virtual environment (DVE) systems. Hormone-based P2P overlay network (HP2PON) model is proposed to provide a fully distributed interacting nodes discovery method with low latency and high topology consistency for P2P based DVE system. The results of simulations show that the average topology consistency can be maintained above 99.8% within only two application level hops.
