Abstract :
CCD lines imaging devices featuring three clocks to replace five of earlier design, sample-and-hold and end-of-scan output, plus dark and white internal references, will be described. Mid-band photo response has been improved by >2:1 and blue response (430-510nm) by >6:1, with dark signal reduced by >3:1.
