  • Abstract
Among the many techniques for remedying harmonic pollution, one possibility seems to have escaped consideration. Here, the author describes a practical investigation and results of the effect, at the point of common coupling, of introducing phase displacement between two separate, highly distorted loads. The background to the work is the effect on a small, three phase distribution system when switch mode power supplies form a significant proportion of the load
