  • Abstract
Highlights some of the problems a design engineer encounters when reducing the order of a flexible space structure model. The choice of the appropriate method in a particular situation is dependant on characteristics of the model, the error criterion of importance and the end use of the model. Other methods of measuring errors in reduced order models are also studied. A realistic space vehicle mathematical model is currently being obtained and will be investigated using multiple inputs and outputs
