  • Abstract
    One of the critical issues of digital manufacture research is to share manufacturing resources and to solve the problem of unbalance of the manufacturing resources. The limitation of manufacturing resources sharing now is that it lacks the semantic support and a standard resource express model. Resource space model (RSM) proposed in knowledge grid is a model for specifying, sharing and managing versatile Web resources with a universal resource view. Based on the RSM, this paper proposes a method to construct a manufacturing resource space model (MRSM). We also construct a manufacturing resource sharing architecture based on RSM and resource using mechanism (RUM) cooperative mechanism, which can provide a useful theory for manufacturing resource sharing research.
