Abstract :
A vapor-transport equilibrated (VTE) periodically poled near-stoichiometric LiTaO3 based OPO was demonstrated. More than 10% conversion efficiency from 1.064 mum to the 4 mum region, and more then 1 Watt of average output power were obtained.
