Abstract
This paper presents an application of modern control theory to the control of an induction motor system. A multivariable continuous-time generalized predictive control, using a state space approach, is developed in which the Kalman filter is tuned for high robustness by a method of Doyle and Stein. The design is carried out for the system, and simulation results are included
