Abstract
Self mode-locked Ytterbium-doped fiber (YDF) ring-laser is presented that consisted of all polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber system, especially single-mode PM-YDF with side-hole type. Environmentally stable pulses and a wide tuning range of 60 nm were obtained.
