Abstract
The authors present interim results of an investigation into the relative merits of several different chemical processing schemes which are commonly used in silver halide holography. The results are analysed with respect to the suitability of a development process for use in laser transmission holograms of underwater objects. Measured parameters include signal-to-noise, image contrast, relative image brightness and background noise, all with respect to exposure
