Abstract :
This paper will describe the relative speed potentials of ISL and I2L, citing theoretical and experimental studies. It appears that ISL is faster because of different switching behaviors and also often the cutoff frequency of merged PNP in ISL is higher than the cutoff frequency of the inverse-operated NPN transistor in I2L.
