Abstract :
Firstly, the probability density of a target was formulized, but the corresponding point of the maximum probability density could not be directly obtained. A passive location algorithm based on maximum probability density was proposed to solve the problem in this paper. Secondly, several passive location algorithms were compared with simulations. The proposed location algorithm could be applied to omni-directional location, and the location precision could be improved at the same time.
