Abstract :
An intense comb-shaped phonon-polariton Raman spectra were obtained from a two-dimensional nonlinear chi(2) photonic crystal - a hexagonally poled LiTaO3 crystal. The work presents a novel method to study the inelastic scattering in a nonlinear medium.
