Abstract :
A practical current-mode quasi-resonant forward converter circuit is analyzed. The authors show that the circuit constants can be determined from the constraints obtained from the analysis. A DC-DC converter is built to demonstrate the approach, and its characteristics are compared with those of a conventional forward converter.<>
