Abstract :
Measurement based on binocular stereovision is an important and new technology to locate object´s 3-D position. The principle and composition of the computer aided surgical navigation system based on binocular stereovision are introduced in the paper. A fast calibration method with error compensation is also given. Software is programmed in C++ Builder to solve the difficulty on how to locate distal screw on intramedullary nail in tibia operation. It is shown that the system is practicable by experiments in laboratory
