  • Abstract
    A novel approach for 3D head transformation based on Gaussian transform provides automatic metamorphosis for 3D heads. It eliminates human intervention for feature specification by facial marking. In addition, this method makes it possible to transform 3D figures based on only one center and a few parameters. The results of experiments indicate that this algorithm needs less control by users and is convenient for users to define the gradual change. This algorithm has a high operating speed, ideal smooth gradual change, and anticipative effect of distortion. The algorithm is excellently adaptable to the area of computer graphic and face recognition
