Opportunities for Sub STM-1 radio systems in the BT network

The paper outlines applications for Sub STM-1 radio systems within the BT United Kingdom network and provides information for discussion within the ITU and ETSI forums towards standardisation of SDH systems below STM-0 (VC-3). It outlines the benefits of functional integration of SDH radio systems and add drop multiplexers (ADM).
