A service management architecture of IBC enterprises

The motivation for the paper was a perceived need to provide modelling support for several aspects of the TMN Reference Configuration (RC). The RACE telecommunications service management project PRISM focuses on provision of information modelling of cooperatively managed resources. A broad definition of actors, their roles and obligations as and within cooperating communicating organisation entity allows modelling of network operator organisations in their communications and management relationships with other organisations such as customer (business) organisations, liberalised service providers as well as manufacturers of telecommunications equipment
