  • Abstract
    A simulation module is presented for wind-diesel power system optimal operation and design analysis. This module has provided the optimal energy flow control solution by pursuing the minimum fuel consumption. The long term simulation results has offered the crucial data for wind-diesel system feasibility studies. The application of this module to a wind-diesel power system in Denmark has demonstrated its effectiveness, particularly, a marked improvement has been achieved to optimal energy flow among multiple diesel units
