Abstract :
In this paper, first, the operation principle of doubly-fed VSCF wind power generation system was analyzed, in which it especially introduced the doubly-fed generator´s AC- excited system based on a structure of dual PWM converter. Then, a vector control strategy was presented, which adopted different vector control between the grid-side converter and the rotor side converter, in order to achieve various control goals. Finally, the simulation on EMTDC/PSCAD software showed that adopting this control strategy this article presented, it was able to track the largest wind power and achieve the decoupling control of wind power system´s active and reactive power, ensure the stability of output power and make the wind farms operate on high power factor.
