Abstract :
Coal and natural gas co-combustion is a technology that has a good prospect in the production of active lime. Proper fuel proportion between coal and natural gas is one of the key parameters for the technology that requires significant thought. By means of numerical simulation, research on co-combustion with five different fuel proportions was carried out. This paper firstly gives an outline of the coal and natural gas co-combustion and then puts forward the models used to describe the system in the research. Finally, the paper makes a series of comparisons in terms of concentration distributions, calcining zone distributions, characteristic temperature, thermal loss taken away by exhaust gas and the gas pollution, based on the numerical simulation results.
