Abstract :
Using the wire construction technique, a conical monopole antenna is fabricated. With the method of moments, the dependence of the antenna´s VSWR on the number of the trapezoid wire elements, conical angles, feed gaps, feed radius and wire radius are investigated through a variety of comparisons. The main purpose of the study is to illustrate how the wire conical antenna exhibits the broadband properties for various geometric parameters directly from the viewpoint of VSWR.
