Abstract :
A novel scheme for image sequence coding is proposed in the paper. The method simulates the trend of a sequence using fractal interpolation which results in a low data rate. The marked feature of the method is that it does not need an iteration procedure like traditional fractal decoding and so high decoding speed is achieved. The experimental results support the theory
