Abstract :
This study has developed new applications of DC motor´s magnetic leakage. A new type of revolution detector has been designed by utilizing the leakage magnetic flux of the DC motor´s shell. The present study introduces the rationale of magnetic leakage detection and the related signal processing methods, presents the idea that magnetic leakage contains slot harmonic signals and eccentric frequency signals, and provides relevant experimental results. Finally, this study presents two DC closed loop speed-regulating systems, i.e., the simple-structured and low-cost PWM speed-regulating system, and the digital speed-regulating system constituted by single chips
