  • Abstract
The working principle and space vector modulation method of matrix converter are analyzed in this paper. To provide high-performance control of induction motors and reduce the appearance of harmonics current and its impact on power grid in AC speed regulation system, the vector control system of induction motor fed by matrix converter is implemented through combing the space vector modulation of matrix converter with the rotor-field-oriented control of induction motor. Simulation results show that the drive system fed by matrix converter has both the ideal characteristics of matrix converter and good steady state, dynamic performance. That is, the proposed control scheme is effective and feasible.
