Abstract
The design of FSS with double-square-loop patch elements using differential evolution strategy coupled with equivalent circuit model is proposed in this paper. A very efficient optimization algorithm, differential evolution strategy is employed to tune the FSS unit cell dimensions. The fast computation method, equivalent circuit model is also collaborated to analyze the electromagnetic scattering from FSS screen. The simulated results are in good agreement with the measured results.
