Abstract
In this paper, the Minkowski fractal patch antenna is introduced to reduce the antenna size. The simulation results show that fractal iteration, and the iteration factor have different effect on the reduction of the patch antenna. Experiment shows that the 1st iteration Minkowski fractal patch antenna reduce the antenna size by 47%, while maintaining the same resonant frequency as that of the normal square patch antenna.
