Abstract :
In this paper, the characteristic of the PIFA (planar inverted f antenna) with small size for cellular phone is studied. The operating frequency band falls in the GSM 900 band, GSM 1800 band, and DCS 1900 band respectively. The antenna gain in these bands is with 0.41 dBi and 1.05 dBi. The test results agree well with that of simulation. Details are presented during the oral presentation.
