Abstract :
Adaptive antenna arrays promise an enormous bandwidth increase for wireless communications using spatial domain processing which is considered to be the last frontier than can provide substantial capacity increase. A modified LMS algorithm designing for beamforming was proposed and step-size was adjusted by controller. Computer simulation shows the performance of the modified algorithm has obvious advantages over that of classical LMS algorithm.
