Abstract
The authors extend the singular value decomposition (SVD) method for detecting voltage collapse to include voltage dependent loads and Q-limited generation sources. They also propose a new indicator based on SVD, the condition number, which is more sensitive than the minimum singular value. Numerical examples and verification on the six-bus and 14-bus systems are given
