Abstract :
For the problem of remote sensing image classification, a basis function network is proposed in this paper. Compared with the backpropagation (BP) network, it avoids the problems of hidden nodes selection and weights initialization. The experimental results show that this basis function network has a better performance of classification for complex remote sensing patterns with fast training time
