Abstract :
Based on the equivalent circuit parameters of waveguide E-plane offset septum, a novel design of broadband band-pass filters is presented by using the combination of normal symmetrical septum and offset septum. Compared with conventional E-plane structure, this new structure can easily obtain relatively wide bandwidth at the low frequency end in the Ka band. The given result of the numerical simulation show the feasibility of the new structure and the validity of the design method.
