Abstract :
Maxwell´s theory laid on a solid foundation for MT detecting technique Ex, Ey, Hx and Hy is generally measured in the marine MT prospecting. The design consideration of the marine MT instrument includes: high sensitivity, intelligentization, synchronous acquisition, hard connection of the anchors, pressure bearing and seal, and reasonable rational sinking speed. The geophysical information of the prospected marine field could be acquired by processing the data collected by the instrument.
