Abstract
The necessary vias in LVDS (low voltage differential signaling) cause discontinuity problems. In this paper, we propose two structures with different widths of the coupled segment between the traces. The performance of these structures may be improved by optimizing the widths of the traces partially. Simulation results show that these structures can effectively improve the performance, and at the same time, are relatively easy to realize.
