Abstract :
A new phase-shifted power cell with its controller for the regulation of DC/DC power converters is presented. The in-line disposition of the switches characterizes this topology, whence the name of switch in-line converter (SILC). Besides the features of the phase-shifted converters already known, the SILC has some peculiar advantages duly illustrated in the paper. The experimental results of a prototype, which agree very well with the theoretical analysis, are reported
