Abstract :
This is a summary of work in progress of Rome Laboratory´s advanced development effort for system engineering automation known as Catalyst. Catalyst is a process-based integration infrastructure that improves the effectiveness of systems engineers and their supporting specialty engineers. Plans to demonstrate the integration infrastructure are underway and potential scenarios with threads of system engineering activities are currently being explored. Catalyst´s operational concept, its capabilities and benefits are described through a potential demonstration of the process of risk management using the technique of technical performance measurement
