Abstract :
The proposed novel wideband PBG microstrip line that has defect tapered ground surface consisting of lowpass, bandstop and leaky wave characteristics, respectively. The simulated results with full wave electromagnetic analyses are in good agreement with those experimental data and the optimal structure of PBG bringing about the perturbation electromagnetic waves will be determined.
