Abstract :
Research of future network management has made considerable progress these years. The development threads and research routes have begun to take shape, but some key issues remains need depth study. This paper presents current research status after a deep survey, and then selects three key issues to put forward our viewpoint on the aspects of management principles, pattern, and methods. This paper firstly presents a QoE-oriented management principle. Then, introduces a distributed and inherent management pattern which is the In-Network Management proposed by FP7 4WARD Project. After that, presents a set of self-management functionalities that should be exhibited in the future network management. In the end, we provide a brief summary of the paper and an outlook of the future studies.
